I am very excited to announce that I'm doing an all day workshop followed by an intimate concert in Cambridge on January 13th. Afternoon, everyone. Lots has been happening, so let me briefly up date you all. Firstly, Hannah James and I have a new album, State and Ancientry, and it is out tomorrow! Visit www.hannahandsam.co.uk to find out more!

Secondly, I have just got back from Rockfield Studios where the fourth Bellowhead album been recorded. What an amazing and beautiful studio it is! The album will be out this Autumn so look out for that…

And finally, I have just got my copy of Orfeo, the new album from Fay Hield & The Hurricane Party. It is out in May, and I am exceedingly proud to be on such a great album - make sure you grab a copy asap!

I am now starting to sort out my set list for my second solo gig at Bristol Folk Festival in May. See you there, hopefully!

Following the success of my solo gig back in October, I will be doing a few more! I will be doing a spot at Bristol Folk Festival on May 5th-6th. I am also organising a few small, intimate chapel concerts in the new year, so keep a look out for those. I will put up any more solo gig dates here.

Tonight is my first solo gig in ten years! It's at Cecil Sharp House, London, and I'll be playing a 45 minute set of my favourite tunes - some you may be familiar with, and some you won't be... Rua Macmillan is also playing - he is ace, check him out!

Well, the new Hannah & Sam album is pretty much finished. Only a couple of things left to do... Any suggestions for a title would be welcome! I also managed to accidentally/on purpose acquire a Hardanger Fiddle the other day. Watch this space!

Hannah and I have just finished a week's tour. It was fantastic, especially the final gig in Glossop, which was a sell out, and a brilliant audience. Thanks to Sara Kirkham and everyone at Goblins In The Ginnel!

Lots of dates are coming in for the Autumn so keep an eye out for a gig near you.

Tonight I played a gig with Andy Cutting at Kings Place, London. We played some material from Andy's album and some trad material too. It was an amazing experience! Thanks to everyone for coming. Here is a link to a video taken on the night.
