2017

2016 saw the end of Bellowhead, my new job with the NYFE starting, nine tours, three albums and whole lot of other wonderful stuff.

2017 is looking rather exciting as well. Here are some things in the first half of the year for your attention / delectation / diaries!

February 3: BIG MACHINE is released! The amazing debut album from Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band. I'm so proud of this album. Order it now.

February 3-5: The first ever Sandlings Sessions, hosted by Folk East at Snape Maltings. A wonderful weekend of workshops, gigs and dancing with Leveret, Blowzabella, Chris Wood and more. Click here for more info.

February 17th: The first ever public performance of the National Youth Folk Ensemble. This amazing group of musicians are supporting Leveret at The Met in Bury. Please come out and support them. There aren't many tickets left! Click here for info and tickets.

March: Leveret are on the road again! We are currently writing a new album for release in the Autumn so you can expect to hear a lot of the tunes this Spring. Click here for more.

April 12th: The first full length concert by the National Youth Folk Ensemble. The ensemble will have a full evening to themselves in the lovely Cecil Sharp House. Get your tickets :)

May: I am very excited to be doing a duo show with Martin Carthy! More info and tickets soon.

June 5-11: The final tour of my show Made In The Great War. We are touring the show one more time, starting in Belgium with a very special show and a commemorative walk to Richard Howard's grave. Then we go to London, Derby, Leeds and Milton Keynes. Get your tickets now! It's selling very fast.
